8" DuPont Hollofil polyester wrap/triple foam core. Three layers of 2-1/2" convoluted 1.2 density foam, filled with DuPont Hollofil polyester. DuPont Hollofil polyester is more buoyant, resilient and longer lasting than regular polyester. This combination creates the most luxurious sitting and plush sleeping surface in the futon industry. Best suited for bi-fold and platform bed use. This futon is much easier to lift and move about than heavy cotton futons and offers comfort and support comparable to a premium bed pillow.
